Drifters is open!

We are now open again and structural repairs are completed, a few cracks in the plaster are giving the hostel more character! (Pete & Veronica)

Small and friendly backpackers in Christchurch with good facilities including a garden deck and BBQ area.

Situated between Fitzgerald & Stanmore streets Drifters backpackers is 1.5 km from cathedral square and takes less than 15 minutes to walk. Local bus stops are just a minute away and the shuttles drop to the door.

Drifters is close enough to walk to Christchurch city whilst far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle.

Drifters is a pick up point for the Akaroa & Hamner trips.
